England’s Medieval Festival is taking place on the
August Bank Weekend (24, 25 & 26 August 2024) at
The King’s Grove, Pippingford, East Sussex TN22 3HW
The King’s Grove
is located in a historic royal location where Kings, nobility and invited
guests have traveled for centuries
to hunt, train for war, test
their skills amongst each other, and most importantly to celebrate at a
medieval festival.
By Car:
The King’s Grove is located about 20 miles north of Brighton or
Eastbourne, and about 30 miles south of London. There will be ample General
and VIP vehicle parking, as well as Blue Badge and coach parking. As you
approach the festival site, there will be AA Signs to follow.
By Train: The nearest train stations to The
King’s Grove are East Grinstead, Tunbridge Wells and Uckfield which
have regular connections to and from London and the south coast. For taxis,
you can use one of the following local companies: forestcars.co.uk,
eastgrinsteadtaxis.co.uk or uckfield-taxis.co.uk or aclasslewestaxis.co.uk
Young Children under 4 years, who do not take up a seat
and can sit on a parent's lap, are FREE. If you want a separate seat for a
Child of any age then you must purchase a ticket for them.
Arrival: For
Weekend Visitors the gates open at 2pm on the
Friday 23 August 2024 for Weekend camping Ticket holders only, and are open
until 12 midnight, then again on Saturday 24 August 2024 from 8am. Please do
not arrive before or after these time as you will be asked to leave and
return once the weekend car parking is open.
For Day Visitors the
parking opens at 9am, and the
Festival gates open at 10am each day on 24, 25 & 26 August 2024 (Rain or
Shine). The Festival closes for Day visitors at 6pm daily.
